When the Plan Doesn’t Go Your Way (And That’s Okay)
When it came to team outings, I was always the Resort guy—fresh air, blue skies, and the joy of spending a day out in the open.
As usual, the vote happened.
And guess what?
We, the resort squad, lost—by just one vote.
Instead of the open skies, we found ourselves in the theater, watching "The Wild Robot".
If it’s between the blue sky and dark theater, I’d pick nature every single time.
Still, I have to admit—the movie was a feel-good gem.
The story: A robot, Roz, shipwrecked on an island, learns to survive, bonds with animals, and becomes a parent to a baby gosling.
What stuck with me the most?
This line from Roz:
“Sometimes, to survive, you must become more than you were programmed to be.”
A classic reminder:
What happens to us isn’t always our fault. But how we respond? That’s everything.
So yeah, that one vote? It turned out pretty great after all.
Go and watch "Wild Robot" 😄
