I'm lazy, and I want you to be lazy too.

But I’m not the kind of lazy who lies in bed all day, forming a black hole on Instagram.
I'm talking about the kind of lazy where you're always looking for ways to optimize your life, be more efficient and less repetitive.
I'm an early riser, I hit the gym regularly, and I put in hours of deep work. But if you ask me to do the same repetitive task more than a couple of times, I'll find a smarter way to handle it.
This philosophy of "smart laziness" isn't just my personal productivity masterclass; it's the hallmark of some of the finest programmers out there. They're the champions of automation, the sultans of streamlining. They write comprehensive documentation so they don't have to field endless questions. They invest time in finding general, reusable solutions instead of crafting specific ones, because they know they won't have to reinvent the wheel down the road.
I'm not an expert in "lazy brilliance" yet, but I'm working on it. I'm constantly looking for ways to automate tasks, create templates, and make things more versatile.
And the beauty of this approach is, you can start your journey towards becoming "lazy smart" today, regardless of your skill set.
You need few examples?
Don’t worry. I got you covered. It's time to be 'lazy.'
I was overwhelmed by my overflowing inbox. Now I have filters to automatically sort my emails into different categories, such as "To read later," "Needs attention," and "Delete." I have templates for common emails, such as "Thank you for your email" and "I'm out of the office.”
Categorize your mails based on projects, relevance or reuse frequency. And don't hesitate to hit that achieve button aggressively. Your inbox will thank you.
I was tired of the ../../../../ dance for directory navigation. I have bash wrapper for the "cd" to store my last five paths. I can easily navigate between them using shortcuts.
It doesn’t matter whether its VIM or VSC or something else. I spare those few minute to learn the most helpful keyboard shortcuts, automate the loading of those project settings and configs.
The options are endless.
It's not about doing less; it's about doing things more intelligently, efficiently, and effectively.
Craft a future where you're not weighed down by repetitive tasks but elevated by the thrill of finding shortcuts and elegant solutions.
Be lazy, and watch as your world becomes more streamlined, effective, and beautifully efficient place to be.
TL;DR
Eat 5 Star. Do Nothing.
