Goodbye, Pocket.

Pocket, my go-to bookmarking app, shuts down on July 8, 2025. After that, you’ll have until October 8 to export your saves.

Then it’s gone.

Forever.

For some, Pocket was just another app.

But for me, it meant something more.

I still remember how I started:

I dumped links without tags, creating chaos. It quickly overwhelmed me.

I nearly gave up.

But I gave it one more chance.

Wiped it clean.

Started fresh.

And I made a promise to myself:

Tag every article. Every time.

If I wasn’t patient enough to tag it, I wasn’t allowed to save it.

This small habit changed everything.

From that day pocket didn’t just help me store content - it taught me discipline, curation, and it gave me space to return to things when I was ready.

I never needed an alternative.

I never spent more than a minute finding what I needed.

To the team at pocket and Mozilla -

Thank you !!!

Your app quietly shaped the way I consume the internet.

And for that, I’m deeply grateful.
